MetaVista consultants utilize and work within the project management standards as set forth by the Project Management Institute. We require that our Senior Project Managers are PMP certified and have extensive industry experience and education. Most have advanced degrees and multiple professional certifications. Project History
In recent years MetaVista has contributed to some of the most critical and visible IT projects in the State of California, including the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal), the Automated Collection Enhancement System (ACES) and the Disability Insurance Automation (DIA) Project at the Employment Development Department, and the Next Generation Electronic Transmission (NGET) at the Department of Consumer Affairs.

Over the past 15 years, MetaVista has consulted on many other large-scale public- and private-sector projects. These include the CalWIN projects for both the Welfare Client Data System (WCDS) Consortium and Sacramento County, and multiple data center relocation and consolidation projects for one of the nation’s largest banks. Company History
MetaVista Consulting Group, Inc., was founded in 1996 by Charles A. Ritchie in Folsom, California to provide project management and related IT consulting services for both private- and public-sector clients. In the early 2000s, MetaVista became a Certified Small Business and a CMAS Vendor for the State of California. The Company soon secured the first of many consulting contracts with the State and other public- and private-sector client agencies.

In mid-2009, MetaVista Consulting Group, Inc., and Public Sector Consultants, Inc., (PSC) merged, maintaining the MetaVista company name. The companies’ combined resources in technical development, increased service offerings, and breadth of experience have proven to be key benefits to our clients’ successes on their complex technology projects.
