MetaVista believes that corporations have an obligation to support the local community and society in general. Accordingly, since it was founded in 1996, MetaVista has donated one percent of its gross consulting revenue to non-profit organizations, with an emphasis on organizations that promote conservation. Sacramento Valley Conservancy
The Sacramento Valley Conservancy is a conservation organization that creates dedicated open space by the acceptance of gifts, private purchase, facilitation of public acquisition, conservation easements, and by cooperative efforts; the conservancy arranges for the preservation of these lands for agricultural, natural resource protection, recreation, and wildlife habitat purposes
