Department of Consumer Affairs
Provided IV&V Services for the Next Generation Electronic Transmission (NGET)
Project, a paperless certification system that minimizes fraudulent reporting
and accommodates the ever changing multiple layers of government requirements
that regulate the vehicle emission systems in California.

Office of Health Information
Provided Project Management and Technology Consulting Services for the implementation
of the HIPAA Administrative Simplification IT project. Activities included project
planning and status reports, evaluation and recommendation of tools, templates,
policies, and other IT resources used to implement HIPAA, and assisting staff
with requirements of the HIPAA Security and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
rules.

California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation
Provided Project Management Services to the California Youth Authority (now California
Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation) for their Digital High School Project,
coordinating the efforts of IT and network managers, the School District Superintendent’s
technology managers, and on-site administrators; taught staff to introduce videoconferencing
and desktop computer technology for everyday use in all classrooms.
Wells Fargo Bank
Provided Project Management and Technology Consulting Services to manage a project
to create and obtain executive approval for a long-term strategic alignment
of 3 large-scale mainframe data centers; worked with senior executives (CIO
and others) to define objectives and priorities, then to define a 30-month
strategy for completing the project.

Department of Social Services
Provided IV&V Services for negotiating and renewing data center contract
services, as well as for quality assurance planning for the transition from a
20-year-old system to a proposed enterprise-wide system serving all 58 counties
in the State of California.
University of California,
Davis
Developed and delivered Project Management training for the University Extension
program; this has been ongoing for many years.

Provided project management training to hundreds of State employees
