MetaVista has achieved high-level success by proficiently employing best practices throughout all of our projects. We initiate, plan, execute, control, and close out projects following the globally accepted methodologies promoted in the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). All of our senior project management consultants are certified Project Management Professionals (PMP). Key senior consultants have also achieved the advanced Program Management Professional (PgMP) and Scheduling Professional (PMP-SP) certifications.

When providing Business Analysis services, MetaVista follows the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK), the internationally recognized reference for professional knowledge for Business Analysis, and the basis for the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Certification. MetaVista also employs one of the very few CBAP-certified professional in the Sacramento area.

Our consultants follow IEEE software engineering standards including the IEEE Standard for Software Verification and Validation (1012) as appropriate. MetaVista is also currently under contract with the only consultant on the West Coast who is an active member of the IEEE Standards Committee working on the next version of the IEEE 1012 Standard.

We thoroughly document each project, so that the client stays current with the project's progress and can easily review the project's history. This project documentation also contributes to efficient knowledge transfer throughout and at the conclusion of the project.

Complete Project Wrap-up
Upon completion of each engagement, we conduct a lessons-learned session with our client. Through this thoughtful review of the project highs and lows, our client and the MetaVista team are able to document best practices to be used for future projects.
